Hi there everyone. My name is Michael, I've lived in North New Jersey for the last 2 years. I've got a 2000 Vulcan. I've been lurking on this site for a long time and have referenced many of the technical advice threads while working on my bike. I have some questions for you all that I'm about to take to the proper forum.
Thank you! I've already received some excellent advice regarding oil and gas on my plugs. I don't know where I would be without this forum. I'm not a mechanic by any stretch, but I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. When I first bought my Vulcan I tore down the bike to the engine and rebuilt the carbs, and the master cylinder. I did the front mcct conversion last week and the bike was humming.
Thank you for the welcome. I'm in Bloomfield, near Montclair. I moved here from Philadelphia a couple of years ago by way of Los Angeles. Been on the East Coast almost 10 years now. It's been great except for winter.
