Just got my ride last week. 98 with 14k on the clock. Needed tires, petcock, oil change and plugs.. otherwise runs like a top. Don't have pix yet with the new tires. They just got put on yesterday.

Bob Ross do those flames ? I noticed you have a Fire & Steel crash guard and I wanted to know how it shifts for you ? I just installed mine 2 days ago and the shift lever hits a bolt head on the left foot rest . Do you experience that also and if you don’t mind posting a pic of the mount on the shift side so I can see what’s up please . By the way highway or get out of the way cause here comes another Vulcan YEAH !!!!

Havent had any problems shifting it. And that's a 10.5w boot in both steel toe and non... I'll grab a couple pix of the shifter area in the morning and post

Shift levers can be repositioned ...and/or bent to fit better. Not sure why you can't do this
OK. I've seen this bike before. Believe it was a previous member here.
Still looks great!
