Hello from Wv

New to the group but been riding since high school. Always been a huge older Honda cb series fan but picked up an 86 vn750 a few years ago and have finally dusted it off and decided to begin its new journey over winter. Just as a precursor I’m sorry ahead of time for any dumb or repeated questions I’m going to ask. I’m starting fresh with a little better than a basket case so I’m sure I’ll have questions. My initial project is gonna be trying out the single carb conversion being that I don’t have carbs for it. Any tips are always welcome and appreciated

Welcome to the machine!

No dumb questions here. Counting myself, you're about the third person I've seen here from WV, I'm in Wood Co.

We ride down there once in a while to see Mothman and his friends by the floodwall. ... and Hillbilly Hotdogs.

That would be a small world in deed. But Dad left Parkersburg in '41 when the WVNG got activated for WWII. But it would have been nice. I should go back. Maybe a neat trip for the 750 and hack!
