Thanks Everyone!

A big thanks to the posters on this forum. I have a new-to-me 2003 750, my first Kawasaki. I've had Harleys, Hondas and a '46 Indian Scout. Started riding 60 years ago with a Cushman Paratrooper.

First thing was to download the service manual and read it. Second was to browse the forum. Lots of tips and information here.

So far I've serviced the drive train (splines were great), changed all fluids, added a sidecar, swapped ACCTs to TOC MCCTs, thrown on a windshield, fixed the choke, replaced one CC adjuster stud (cured oil leak) and tightened bolts. I will be relocating the Rectifier and finding the weak connection in the tach.

Found out the bike sat at the dealer for over a year (nobody wanted a "little" 750) so am running Seafoam in oil and gas. Oil/filter change in another 150 miles.

Thanks again everyone.

Welcome! Get some more glammer shots of that sidecar and throw them up. I'm sure we'd all love to see that set up

Thanks for the welcome!

As soon as we have a dry sunny day I'll post more pics of the sidecar. Installed iridium plugs today between rain showers! And putting in new exhaust gaskets. The new mccts quieted the chains but have a "click" still. Sounds like the click in a posted video that members pointed to exhaust leaks. Mine sounds the same as the video. New gaskets can't hurt anyway!

The Eagle was a fun ride. Took mine all the way to Sandia Crest in Albuquerque NM when I was 13 and living there. That was back when you could do 60 MPH on the freeway and not get run over!

Jealous of the side car! The kids here are too small yet to reach the passenger pegs!
