Newbie Introduction (might be a duplicate post)

Hey all, I'm Steve Gosciejew,

I live in Sycamore IL about 40 miles west of Chicago, and I just got my first Motorcycle!

Its a 92 Vulcan 750 thats looks as old as it is haha.

I bought this 2 months ago as a first time owner and it seemed like a good deal for 750 bucks.
I bought it with a leaking fuel tank thinking i was just gonna patch it, ride for the summer, than make it my own next fall, instead I started taking stuff off and know Ive decided to replace the tank, bob it out with a solo seat and remove all the electrical stuff it doesnt need, along with doing the ear shave and emissions delete. I found myself here looking for some wiring info, you guys were so helpful in your posts I wanted to join the community, since that what half of riding seems to be about. anyway thanks for letting me join the team.

Just a bit about me, I went to aviation maintenance school in Rockford, so I'm decent around automotive stuff (plane stuff carries over real easy) and I do all the work on my vehicles. That being said it its my first motorcycle so I'm completely new to them, although I've had a couple mini bikes and go karts. I also like doing some woodworking stuff and basically anything involving creating and modifying stuff (which a motorcycle seems perfect for)
