Most of the new Japanese bikes are ugly, even some of the cruisers. Kawasaki no longer makes anything I like. I love that Honda CB1100, but too late in life to buy a new $12,000 bike. I bought my last new bike about 6 months ago, a 2013 Royal Enfield. Looks, sounds, and feels like a real motorcycle.

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.

1997 Vulcan 750, purchased about a week ago
2006 Sportster 1200 Low
2013 Royal Enfield Bullet 500, converted to carb
2001 Yamaha XT225, heavily modified
2004 Honda Rebel 250
1979 Vespa P200E
2002 Vulcan 750 parts bike
1994 Yamaha XT225 parts bike

Hmmm...wonder if the Versys (Versatile?) could be the "new" Vulcan??!!Seems like that 1000 or the 650 look like straight up "crotch rockets" but that handlbar position looks like "comfort cruiser".
