Carb adjustment after muffler mod

What kind of an adjustment needs to be done to the carbs after removing mufflers? I dont wanna burn valves up. I havent done the mod yet, but I plan on doing so this winter.

are you doing the ear shave and the mufflers at the same time and what are you using in place of the old mufflers?

If you open the pipes a lot, you should expect to need at least a larger main jet.

These carbs don't stay on the pilot jet very long, but a larger pilot may depend on what sort of transition you get from pilot to main.

I would read the plugs now for a baseline, and after the pipe mods. Jetting correctly can be tedious and time consuming to get just right. A 140 main may be a good start, again, depending how wide open you go.

Yes, Doc, I plan on doing the ear shave and the muffler mod this winter. I wasnt sure how much of a difference it would be for the carb adjustment after muffler removal. I have the tools and etc to tune carbs and such.
