Time for MCCT?

Installed the TOC ACCT rebuild kit last season. Seemed to work for a few weeks. This year, the Vulcan's rattling loud again - either cold or hot. Seems more pronounced when hot.
26.5K on the odometer - I bought it used from a dealer, so no idea how many past owners.
It's an '01. Is it time to try the TOC MCCT conversion, or should I just live with the [cam chain] rattling?
Looking for guidance.
TIA.

go with the TOC, soon. leaving them rattling can lead to internal damage. they aren't hard to install

x2 what doc said. Don't let it rattle, it's hammering the chain guides. If it gets sloppy enough, it can bend valves, that's terminal and never pretty. Easier to replace with mcct than to go inside the Swiss clock that is our engine.
