Removing right side exhaust.

The clymer manual says to just pull the exhaust out of the muffler chamber. Mine is jammed in there pretty damn good. I've been trying to work it loose but just can't get it to budge. Any tips?

patience, pb blaster, patience, wiggle wiggle, maybe a little heat, patience, PB blaster, wait a little, wiggle wiggle, throw up against wall, swear a whole lot, more PB blaster, forget about it for a week, come back and it'll come apart every time.trust me,I'm a doctor (vn750.com waiver.this man is not a real doctor.he just plays one on tv.) seriously, though,it takes persistence and a large quantity of some sort of penetrating oil. remember, it didn't fuse together overnight, but it will come apart, eventually.

You might have better luck if you remove the muffler on that side, and maybe loosen the bolts on the goat belly. That should let things wiggle and move a little better.

You may still end up destroying that goofy grease/asbestos gasket, which costs way more than it's worth.
