I installed the V&H and I love them. I have the baffles in and the sound is nice and loud but not too loud. Since the baffles are in you don't have to rejet. They're easy to install in fact easier than the directions that come with them make it. They tell you to remove the right foot brake assembly when installing the right pipe...don't. You don't have to, all you need a little patience and it'll go right in. I even have an engine guard to work around and still had no problem. They never blue, shave a few pounds off the bike, and make it look alot sleeker. I got mine online for $322 shipped but I see above someone found them for $301. It make take some diggin' but don't pay over $322...

Most excellent and helpful topic here people! Thanks!

I have been dissatisfied with the stock pipes and I just want to make it louder. I think I am leaning towards the V&H options as they seem to be highly regarded here.
