Solid Stuff from oil change
Changed oil & filter on my "new to me" 04 750 at 11,600 mi. Old oil was extremely black, thin, had a bit of film on it. Changed oil & filter again at 12,000 miles. Oil again black, but looked like it was clean enough to provide lubrication. When I emptied the drain pan, I found these "particles" in the bottom. Not positive, but pretty sure they came out of engine. Anyone here experienced this? If so, where is the "stuff from? .... james
P.S. Did not think to check "stuff" with magnet. It feels non metallic. Engine was at operating temp both times oil changed.

FYI :
Kawasaki introduced the 750 cc class Vulcan worldwide in 1985. Due to tariff restrictions in the United States on bikes over 700 cc imported from Japan, the initial US spec model was limited to 699 cc. The tariff was lifted in 1986 and the Vulcan went to 749cc.

Will do some research on where to get parts, best "how to" do the work, etc., before asking questions that are probably already answered here on the forum.
I "love" the 750. Power to size/weight ratio. Appearance. Sweet bike.
