Best ACCT solution needed.

The front cylinder ACCT tensioner is weak. Tried the trick to preload it and it still loosens and allows the cam chain to slap.

Verifed by manually tightening the ACCT while idleing, quiet for a few miles.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than buying new ACCT's ($$$$) from the dealer, you can buy new, higher tention springs from:

I used them in mine and the noise quit.

Deuce (Loran Naperville IL)
1995 VN750 (Black w/ 2004 tins - no teal)
2003 VN750
Both have: - F&S Bags & brackets
- Corbin seat w backrest
- Progressive suspension.
- Kury iso goldwing grips
2 1983 V65 Magnas
2 1985 V65 Mangas (1 which is in many parts)
Loran in Npvl IL is offline

I installed those in May and have about 4K miles on them. I have had no problems. You can check my other posts about the install and view some pictures I posted.
