Temporary acct bandaid

Just wanted to share a minor success I had fiddling with my 94 750. I've owned the bike a little under a month now, the other day I heard some racket coming from the top of the motor. 16k miles is about right for acct springs to wear out from what I read here. Instead of doing the gambo I pulled the whole acct unit out to check it out and sure enough the springs were a little stretched. I went into the Vulcan verses and pulled up the link for the TOC rebuild of an acct. I noticed it said one full turn of preload is recommended, so I did 2 turns to compensate for the tired springs. Did both tensioners, started the bike and I'll be damned, the thing is quiet as a mouse. Changing over to mcct asap but just thought I'd share. Even made my custom loading tool. Quick free bandaid
