cooling fan

I have a problem on my cooling fan switch. I need to fix it properly but for now I am going to cheat.

There is a small yellow wire that hooks up to the temp switch at the bottom of the radiator. I have to unplug that to get the fan to shut off. so I want to put a switch inline with that yellow wire so I can turn the fan on and off manually.

Where does that wire go? I need to find a place where I can tap into that line to place a switch.

Amy help would be great.

Grace and Peace to you!
