V&H Cruzers on 05' 750?

I'm really interested in purchasing the Cruzers for my 05' 750. Now on the V&H website and other sites it says the fitment for these are for 86-04 models but on amazon and eBay and other sites it says they are compatible for the 05'. I think I read a post on here about a guy selling some cruzers and that he had them on his 05' and they fit and they were just too loud for him. Being that these aren't cheap, I wanted to know if anyone has any information about if the body style changed on the 05 from previous years and if anyone has put these on the 05 before I possibly take a hit and have to turn around and sell these pipes if they don't fit. Thanks a lot.

the exhaust will work on any vn700/750.the only things changed on it were bigger cylinders and pistons for the 750,the master cylinders, and the early ones had self cancelling turn signals.motor for 85 was black with polished fins, wheels for 85/86 were black with polished ribs,86-motors silver,87 up rims silver.so yea, they'll work

Cruzers sound really nice. Go for it! Big difference from degoating with the stock pipes.

If you aren't dead set on the VH Cruzers you can save some money with a pair of EMGO 19" Turnouts for less than $100, and still get the bigger sound. I'm really pleased with them. Below is a link to a video I made mid-way through the install. You can see and hear the stock exhaust on one side, and then I move to the side with the EMGOs. Not trying to sway you either way; just showing you another option for bigger sound over stock mufflers.

I've read about unpacking and debaffling the cruzers. People say it's super loud and hard on the hearing. I've heard loud pipes before but can't imagine it being unbearably loud. Have you heard them without packing and debaffled?
