iirc..... 5 dampers....3 small(er) - 2 Large(r)..............
Damper will fit BOTH correctly AND 180 degree's out. BE CAREFUL !
Also, LEFT_ HAND THREAD Bolt.... 13 ? ft. lbs. ?
Use Lock-Tite...
Any/all comments welcome here..............

I just pu the bad flashing side in deep and figured it will wear?

Theres 6 total dampers. The star shapes ones go on the "outside" see through holes in gear. That LH bolt should be 51 ft lbs. Just like the right side.

flashing is probably just excess material injected into mold, and not cleaned off..

numbers are probably the mold cavity that particular item came out of. I am sure they make several, if not dozens of them every time the mold halves close.

I have never seen a vn750 engine apart, so I have a question. Some sources I have read say there are 6 rubber balancer dampers, and others say there are 4 rubber and 2 plastic dampers. Which is right? What came in your kit?

One more question; is that a steel bushing/sleeve in the center of the rubber damper in the pictures?

There are 6 total, 4 of one part # and two of another. The two star shaped ones (not show in my pics) are a slighty softer material IMO than the four donuts ones pictures again, IMO.

The two that are noy round do not have sleeves. The other ones probably have aluminum sleeves? I kept the old i could look later.

I have the origonal bags and can get pictures of the kawasaki labels if it helps anyone.
