resurfacing cams and journals
Has anyone resurfaced their cams and journals before? I have a dead head that I want to practice on. I have some dye's and grits that fit the journals, but I've never done it. I wanted to see if anyone has before and could offer insight. This is just experimental since I have a test dummy to experiment on.

The piston aluminum that went everywhere in this side of the engine melted into the journals so I have extra metal to grind away instead of a deficiency of metal. Cams are scored, but look like they would roll without doing too much oil channeling.
