And it ends with a whimper

Finally made time to tear into the $300 project bike I've had sitting around. The lower left case had a chunk knocked out and I assumed the balancers had gone south. After pulling the motor,I removed the stator cover to check my theory. The balancer gear fell out onto the bench, the bolt is chewed and the case is ground away. While I have most everything to make the repair, I just decided to keep tearing down and boxing parts up for future needs or liquidation, Mainly due to the title being lost in a house fire before I transferred it.
Snapped a few pictures because I haven't seen any balancer failure pics here in quite a while.
