Must do both ACCT's?

Perhaps this is somewhere and I just plain didn't notice it. When doing an ACCT to MCCT conversion, must you do both cylinders or is it ok to just do the one sounding off? Part of me says it shouldn't matter but the other part says if you do one, do them both.

only have to do the offending one, but the other will likely fail as well, so I would recommend doing both

How do you guys feel about the TOC spring repair kit for the stock ACCT's? I would like to keep the bike as stock as possible (except for the V&H Cruzer pipes I just put on).

Thanks for the answer. My front one was making "that noise" every so often. Once I get it running again that will be an almost immediate swap. Thankfully its the easier one to attend to.

What do you mean it almost left you stranded? How did you know it broke and how did you get home?

when it broke it stated clacking really loud at at idle and low rpms, rev it up to about 2500+ and it would smooth out, the new spring was only in for a few hundred miles. I drove it home 30 miles keepin the rpms up til I got home. took the acct off and my new toc spring was in two pieces. went and bought the hardware and did the conversion and not a problem or rattle since!
