Right Balancer Install

When I replaced the right balancer gear, I can not get the bolt and washer to tighten down against the gear. I have double check the brass washer and even without it installed there is a space. The gear can move in and out a few MM.

Did you do any work to the left side balancer? If you didn't put in the bracket that holds the left sides bearing , that bearing can push out to the left, leaving a space like I see in that pic.

I did not remove either bearing, I split the case and it went back together completely. Once I install the left balancer will it move the shaft any? I do not see any room for movement anywhere.

The bearing doesn't need to be removed for what I'm explaining could've happened, only the curved bracket with two bolt holes that sits behind the left balancer. It's a retainer for the left bearing.

I found a couple other threads talking about the same issue. With people saying they think it's suppose to have a space. I then saw on Roach's pt20 video at about 2min 18sec. you see his installed and torked right side bolt with the space. So yes there should be about an 1/8th of an inch space.
