Question Vance & Hines Cruzers Exhaust System On '98 VN750

Hey Guys,

Has anyone put the Vance & Hines Cruzers Exhaust System on your VN750? I'm highly considering it and wanted to know if anyone had pictures of it done.

http://www.bikebandit.com/vance-hine...-system#tabtop

If so:
Did you rejet?
What Jet-Kit did you use?
Did it give you power or just sound?
Any AirIntake/Cleaner you might recommend to compliment?

Are there other AfterMarket pipes you would recommend above the VH's?

Thanks!
Puckett

Garage
I have them, here is a pic..

And a video of the sound of my bike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unwvRpOF_94

You will not need to rejet. You may want to perform an earshave for various other reasons (search on here). No performance boost from just the exhaust.

There are some other options, MAC makes some, but Cobras are hard to come by. I like the V&H.

Thanks ThTanner! I appreciate your response.

All the images I see on websites have been for the wrap around pipes. Is that just them reusing an image? I see yours are not. Will I have to tell them when I order?

Also thanks for the video seems like the good deep rumble I'm hoping for!

I also have them. I had already rejetted when I did my ear shave before I put the new exhaust on.

No rejet if you just change the exhaust.

That is a stock image online. The cruzers for the vn750 are one pipe per side.

They have a great sound but don't really add any performance that you'd notice.

I love mine and I wish I had the cash for another set for my wife's bike.

Anything I help with (4 m/c last yr), i want a rejet with less restrictive exhaust ( more performance). I do not rejet for intake changes.

Thanks Angell, Bike Bandit's sales lied to me lol... They said wrap around!

I appreciate all your input, I'm looking into the EarShave right now to compliment my pipes... But don't know if I'm brave enough yet.
