Does this sound like a normal engine?

I rebuilt my carbs last week and threw it together this week and finally got her started up. When I bought her she ran very rough (knew the carbs were gummed up, among other issues) but now that I've got it back together and running I'm curious on if the engine sounds "normal". This is my first bike, so I'm not sure if the sounds are completely normal or not. What I'm talking about is the knocking or "ticking" sound. I've uploaded it here:

Most of this is at idle, though I did rev it up a bit during the last 10-15 seconds. I had my phone about 12 inches from the front cylinder head, though at one point I did walk around to the right side. The ticking sound seems to be much louder on the front cylinder compared to the rear, but it's really hard to tell.

Wolfie, thank you! Was a bit worried, used to an automotive engine that purrs instead of roars.

Nahhh...if this engine was an inline engine, would sound smoother...V Twins inherently "thump and bump" a little...nature of the beast.....its sounded fine bro....no worries....but if you get a slight metallic tapping, switch your Auto cam chan tensioners to manuals....details on that are all here in these pages......
