Complete engine gasket set needed

Hi, I just got PetterHelms VN750 (thank you Pete) which is a beautiful bike but since the shifter isn't working is going to need the case split. Where can I get a complete gasket set and any ideas what it will cost?

I'm currently traveling for business (yes Wolffie, I should have stopped by while in the area) but would love to get back home and just order it so let me know where I can find one.

Having never split a case before I want to have the parts at ready to go before I split the case so I can get it all back together before I forget where the little parts go.

Stuck in 1st gear, shifter rotates about 1/3 turn freely and can be pulled out 1.5".

Balancers, rings and bearings may also be on the needed list depending on price.

Wolffie, I truely didn't realize how close I was to you, PeterHamm told me but I still had a bunch of miles to cover dragging that damn trailer. I get up there about twice a year. Next time,,, I promise.

Ok, Where is that website I've seen before that lists and sells most OEM parts for these bikes? They had good diagrams and carried about 90% of the parts for these bikes.

Can anybody remember what the site was?? I can't find it.

Somebody used to sell a whole gasket set for the VN750 on eBay. I suppose they didn't sell so well, 'cause I can't find them anymore. So yeah, I guess your only option now is to get each gasket separately.

Look out for shipping charges. It's cheaper the more you spend on the site, so you should probably buy them all at once. Else, if you forget one and have to buy just that one, you'll end up paying a lot on shipping. At least last time I checked on parts, that was the case.
