How to rmove the stator rotor

Hello yes I am back again, sorry for all the questions tonight but I bought a 3 claw puller attached it to the rotor and it wont budge tried tapping with a mallet but nothing am I using the wrong tool.

STOP!!!!! don't use a puller. It takes a 18mm bolt with 1.5 threads. If I'm wrong on the threads someone please correct this. Notice the shaft where you removed the drum bolt has inner threads and the drum has threads as well for the 18mm bolt to thread in and push again the shaft to force the drum off. Hammering on the drum can demagnetize the it. Best of luck finding the bolt. Hard to come by in most areas.

You need to go to youtube Before you continue and watch this video. It tells you all you need to know. Keep in mind the balancer is left hand threads also.

Thanks Chuck now that you mentioned that it should be the same as my old Honda cf 500 I looked on eBay the sell the four the Honda like 16.00 however I will dog through the tool box after work and call a few stores local Thank you for that reminder.

Carefully of the woodruff key when your reassembling the rotor & mark your balance gear to rotor position. The factory alighnment marks might be hard to see. Mine were & gave me all kinds of headache.

if you can't find the bolt i have one i can send you. i only paid 5 bucks for it. shipping won't be much either but not worried about the money. you just have to pass it on to someone else who may need it lol.

I've seen these bolts (for Stator) sold online for $12 - $14.00 (?) !

there is a shop near me that sells all kinds of bolts pretty cheap. so i can get more if needed. i hope i won't need it again for a while if so i can get another. if i can help someone save a few bucks then i don't mind to send it.
