sounds interesting but while I've heard about people wanting to overbore their cylinders I've never known anybody to do it.

You do understand, that only those who are FB members can open this, ya ?....

...Id be wary of an overbore like that though....sounds like a time bomb to me....if we werent water cooled, and had iron jugs....maybe....but even the sleved cyl, when you get it that thin, there's just aluminum backing it....Ive always been told not to bore out water cooled engines beyond specs....3x over I think ?....as per manufacturer....and thats just to replace pistons and rings....

Mine were bored .50mm due to pitting on the bores. Standard overbores are .50mm and 1.00mm. Not quite sure what that equals in inches. I'm sure someone will chime in.

Less than 2 hours from me.. hmm.. Overbore might be ok, or not. I don't know much about that. But "ran when it was parked" on Craigslist. Classic. I always love hearing that one.

I don't think .030 is all that much, now .060 could be pushing it. All depends on the thickness of the sleeves, but .030 isn't normally considered a lot.

"OBO", means the seller is willing to drop the price, offer $400 and come up to 500. ... before the weather changes.
