piston rings needed

Hello all,
I am having a difficult time trying to find a set of piston rings for my 1985 kawasaki vn700. i found one NOS set, and i need one more... Any advice/tips/suggestions?? Thanks!

Do you have a micrometer? I'm wondering if you can measure them for me, perhaps we can find something else that uses the same size rings. The bore should be ~82mm if I recall. If you can post the rest of the measurements for the rings I'll look around and see if Ican find something that will work for you.

Well I ran into a similar problem rebuilding a cx500. I couldn't find rings to save my life. Come to find out, if you machined the grooves in the pistons just a little wider you could use a readily available set of rings from a Toyota Camry. I'm thinking if nothing else matches up there might be a similar solution available for this.

He needs for a VN700 not a 750, they are different sizes.

I hope there is a solution readily available, when I go to rebuild my 700 I am sure I'll have to look at the rings.
