Oil change question

Every spring I change my oil. Last year I Thankbarely rode it all because of an injury. Maybe a 100 miles. Should I still go ahead and change the oil? Thanks,

I would, it may be ok but ide rather spend $17 for piece of mind. viscosity of the oil can still break down some when sitting. The oil compound itself doesn't actually "break down" as the chemical makeup of oil stays pretty sturdy, but what can happen is contaminants from the combustion process and eventually lead to sludge. Maybe not in your case since it was only ridin about a hundred miles but would be best to change anyway.

I'm either leaking or burning enough so my oil is always fresh. These are two cycle engines right? I just mix a cap full in with my gasoline and off I go. Fill up the left side with radiator fluid and she's purrin'. Had to put the battery in the saddle bag cause I couldn't find any place it would fit. It's charging ok cause when I'm going, the charge goes up from 0 to 60 volts most times, if I'm on a highway.

My only problem is that every time I shift gears the bike stops. If I then step or pull on the brake it drives ok but the speedo is off and only reads 13.5. I love my bike though and plan to get a license for us soon.

Sounds to me by the problems your describing you seem to have put your rear wheel on backwards. Easy fix!
