LULU's Slipping

LULU's Slipping,

Well all there I was sitting at a light in first gear clutch all the way in and she was trying to move foward. Not a good sign. So i poped her in neutral and squeezed the clutch in and out 3 times and poped her back in first. This fixed the issue temporarly.

So What do i do Well knowing me I orderd the EBC HD sport Clutch kit. (If you know me and Lulu I Never do any thing small) . Now i have repacked a clutch or 2 but only on Hondas (my old cx500 and my 750 interceptor) I was wondering if there are any special tips or tricks for the clutch adjustment you all may have.

And while Lulu is up in the air I Will do a oil, filter, oil screen change out. I will be using Motul 7100 20w50 ( i picked up a gallon for 35 bucks) its a full synthetic.

So wish me luck ( and if any one has a trick or two i will gladly listen)

e

from reading past threads, make sure its in gear when you change the clutch. I have seen it done at a gathering and it wasn't much to it. It should be easier than the cs500 because you don't need any special tools.
