Breakdown in the engine

I have loud noise in lower part of engine. It happens suddenly on the run.
Engine still have a performance. I checked ACCT its ok. On higher RPM's noise disappears, but on idle starts. Looks like something with lower chain tensioner, like chain not tensioned.
Should I disasembly the engine. Had anyone the same problem?

I just got my bike back together. The problem could have been fixed without pulling the engine. make sure you know what it is before tearing into it. this was a very painfull job.

The oil screen is located on teh left side of the bike.
there is a bolt behind the left peg that you can remove and get the screen.
It is a good Idea to check it.
The ACCT it Automatic Cam Chain Tensioner.

That certainly doesn't look like what ya want to see on there !!

Being as old as the bike is, very well could be due to the balancer.
