Santa please bring me a new engine

So I was riding to the gym this morning for my daily workout, going about 45mph and BAM. Bikes engine sounds like I threw nuts and bolts in an industrial sized blender. I'm thinking my balancer went out (should have parked it a month ago when I had my suspicions) but I won't know till after the holidays when I rip it out. Back tire is locked up, and antifreeze is dripping from the weep hole under the engine. No holes in the case or visible cracks so far!

I'm on a very small income, so I'm hoping I get her up and running by summer.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all

Hopefully someone here has a spare engine they can send you cheap.

[/SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] The mini-skirt is a very functional article of clothing. With it a woman can run much faster; and because of it she may have too.

I actually have a spare engine sitting right here in my garage, I just don't know what condition its in as it was given to me. I don't know if its blown, or if someone just might have robbed a carb or stator from it....ill find out soon I guess.

About 13,600 miles. I don't know a thing about the spare.

fyi.....when my Balancer Rubbers & Balance gear (knobs) went out, I was actually hearing the gear grinding ....a sound (loud) like I was dragging my speedo Cable....I was actually grinding the casing via the Balance Gear letting lose !
If the Balance Gear had not let lose (LH threaded bolt) , I'd saved 100's of dollars on 1/2 engine Case & Stator/Balance casing/cover + expensive gaskets. View pics of damage in my Avatar Photo Albums.

hope this helps

Well man at this point you don't have much to lose by getting the spare you have running. There is probably lots of good parts on your current engine if you needed to fundraise to fix your bike up.

Angell was referring to the spare engine (condition unknown) that I have.
