Something like this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ROUe-fWgYE. I'm thinking of doing something similar, basically just making my end tips a little different. These don't have any baffles in them by the way.

No probs. I havnt mocked mine up yet, but given lots of thought. You can use your stock headers, get rid of the goats belly and the muffs. Should be able to go to a Napa, or local muffler shop to get the tubing, wish I had a tube bender. If using stock headers get two 90 degree elbows, 3 straight pipes, whatever size you decide. You'll probably have to go to a muffler shop to get the upswept elbows custom made, (unless you have a tube bender with proper dyes) I'm guessing his are around 80 degrees. Personally I would go with like 75 degrees (or make the parallel straight pipe a lil longer) if you plan on ever having a passenger to keep the back of their ham from cooking.

Also, you shouldn't have to worry about re-jetting. These type of pipes are plenty long and create good backpressure. If you do need to equalize the pressure, it would be from the left side pipe as its the shorter of the two. I've heard of people drilling a hole through the pipe near the tip, and inserting an eye bolt. Tack weld in place ,grind down to clean it up, and paint, or whatever finish you like. The ring from the eye should give just enough extra back pressure to equalize, if in fact you even need two.
