Sump full of petrol/oil.
As my igniter blew pre any start up, on my project VN, I decided to paint the frame and wheels, and do a good detail. Drained the sump, pre engine removal, and found a lot of fuel in the oil! Seems the product of mixin up vacum lines with fuel lines. My mistake and probably the cause. Carbs have since been cleaned and checked all good. My question is, If the oil pump has been washed clean of oil? Would there be an easy way to prime it,or would it self prime?
