Scrape the old stuff off, wipe with brake clean, apply 'Right Stuff' gasket maker.

Thanks, that much I did know, do I need to remove the engine or is it just as simple as getting a few things out of the way? (i.e. brake pedal assembly, exhaust)

Garage
the clutch is easy with out removing the engine.. there is a removeable section of frame. you need to remove the brake pedal and foot peg assembly, front exhaust, and the frame section, then the clutch cover can be removed.
