balancer and flywheel sync

I am in the process of putting by 750 back together after replacing the engine case due to the balancer coming off and causing havoc ....presently putting my flywheel back on using the sync marks on the balancer and flywheel, the balancer has two sync marks one etched/engraved into the metal and another (one tooth over) that is "white" and I assume the white mark was applied at the factory as a slight adjustment...my question, I assume I use the white applied mark instead of the engraved to sync to the flywheels mark?
Thanks for your help in advance?

Garage
book says to line both punch marks up.. refer to roaches videos for a better understanding of how to put together your engine.

Exclamation

I'd be wary of using the white mark, it sounds more like something someone has done outside the factory. I've not seen any other posts anywhere about the factory using marks like that. Now, on the balance shaft itself, on my 2003 it has a stripe painted on one of the splines, from the factory, and there are several posts confirming the factory did that.

Beware, the large post on the balance weight, aligns with the small hole in the balance gear.

It's possible to incorrectly assemble the weight and gear 180 out of synch and still have all the marks line up. This will result in the bike shaking like Shakira on her best night. I know because I did it, I also made a post about it in this section, with pics, head scratching, and hair pulling. So I got to pull it all apart twice. There is also a pic of it in the downloaded repair manual.

Remember, biggest post goes in the smallest hole.

On the rotor, use the mark on the inside edge where the gear teeth are, not any of the ones on the outside edge.
