V&H pipes not equal !

My Vulcan exhaust on left is louder sounding, my right is not quite as loud . Could it be carb related my air screws have been adjusted to stop the popping on decal along with elimination of smog stuff.
Maybe its louder due to shorter length of left side exhaust.
Any ideas on a remedy ?

You are correct, the left pipe is shorter and closer to your ear as compared to the right side.
