trouble

Its been a bit since i posted but may need help soon. Think i have a balencer issue have ti pull the motor to be sure but it has a loud gronding noise on the left side and a crack in the case i have yet to pinpoint. Thanks for any help though.

Also a little nervise about getting in to the motor it'll be my first bike motor

.....yeah, nervous ......Been there, done that.
.....seems like a balance damper issue.
New_Rider9984 did mine, he is an excellent bike mechanic.
He is located in Houston (6 hours away?), and is likely to work something out with you.

After TOC MCCT's..... so amazingly quiet I discovered a rattling heat shield on my stock exhaust !

Couldn't pinpoint my leak either. Seems the bolt worked loose in mine and cracked the case. Around one of the thick parts a bolt lines up with. Once I had the cover off it fell loose in my hands. My 18 yo son pulled the motor with a manual. Once the parts come in this week we are hoping to get it back together in time for sturgis.

Yep wish i had the funds to get you here NEWRIDER. Just the nerves of not messing up have done many v8 but my first bike motor. Pulling her out tomorrow. If it was any of you would you just fix whats broke or do a full rebuild. And if not a full rebuild what else should i check when im there.
