Exhaust Tips

I though I read in here where someone picked up a set of Harley stock exhaust tips (screaming eagle I think) and put them on the VN750. Am I remembering corectly? If so, what does it sound like if the goat is still in place, and does everything line up? Or, can it even be done?

I see where HD exhaust tips can be picked up pretty reasonable on eBay and if the sound and fit is good, why not?

I think Dianna did that that and they were Harley mufflers but not screaming eagles, maybe some else knows for sure.

What Dianna did was...
Put the Goat's belly back on and added a pipe to bring both Dyna mufflers out to the same length.
The bike was just too loud with the goat's belly gone and the 27" fishtail mufflers.
Now it has a nice deep healthy tone and not a bit of popping either!

Also one advantage of having the goat's belly is the mufflers are balanced. If you take it off, I'd reccommend an H pipe at least.
