Help Broken Radiator fan!

Well looks like i broke the radiator fan in my stator replacement. It seems as iff the fan blade assmebly has come off the shaft from the motor. Curious if anyone has seen how it goes on, as i would like to fix it all in one go in the morning....

I would think that there must be some sort of set screw that secures the fan to the motor shaft.

Hehe. Sorry.

Well, you could always try glue. Or JBweld. Ackk! My daughter took my manual - I can't look it up! Oh, wait, I got the pdf...

Where's your manual?

Doesn't matter, it shows the fan as a complete unit.

My fan starting slipping on the motor shaft a few years ago. If I remember correctly, it is just a tight fit onto the shaft & there was no setscrew or anything holding it on.
I used a good quality epoxy resin to glue it back on & allowed it to set overnight. Haven't had any problems since.
Hope this helps.

Must have been all that power you're making now got the bike to try and use the fan blade as a propeller !!
If it is just a press fit, you probably could still add a set screw to the thing.
