degoated yesterday

well i broke down and degoated yesterday after much debate...it was kinda a no brainer since i manage a muffler shop....i had all pipe and benders and welders,why not its free!!!got a friend in machine shop makin my coasters this week!!!!!sorry i havent checked in in awhile well its been 10 yrs or so since ive ridden.well i got her out last weekend for first time and rode,and about 500 miles later i took a break... thequestion i have is could my bike be running lean after degoat exsaust seemed to be extra hot while riding afterwords...i degoated and made h-pipe,no power loss seems like it might gained a little bit.......gas miealage went down not really prob from me hammerin it listening to those pipes,they sound good!!!!!!

I have done the same thing. I found by going 2 3/4 turns out on the air/fuel mixture works good. If you want more low end torque add 4 inch baffles ahead of the muffler and it also takes a little sharpness out of the sound.

thanks for the advice ill try that.. well so far i have fixed shifter rod and works great, put new clutch and brake levers,new mirrors,new irridiums,new air filters,grambo,degoated with h-pipe, puttin some new shoes on her today,goin one size over like everyone talked about on here.i have a corbin seat should be here today bought off ebay,have kuriakyn rightangle mounts and iso pegs comin today,changed blinker lenses to chrome lenses,new windshield is next!!!!! OH YEAH I READ WHERE SOMEONE WAS WANTIN TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE BRACKET FOR CENTERSTAND SO IT DOESNT HIT LEFT PIPE WHEN UP,I SAWED OLD ONE OFF GOATS BELLY AND WELDED IT TO PIPE UNDER NEATH....WORKS REALLY WELL
