acct to mcct

Ok guys. I'm having trouble finding a 3 1/2 in bolt for the conversion. The longest I have found is 2 inches. Would that be long enough? I saw in one of the posts that one of you started off with a 3 1/2 and ended up with 1 1/2 after cutting it down a couple of times. Was I reading that right? Does that give enough adjustment to the mcct if it needs it? Thanks for any help on this.

If you're talking about the conversion I did several years ago, you don't need a 3 1/2" bolt. It is noted in the updated section (red). So if you can find one 1 1/2" you should be good to go. There are other good write ups on the conversion. I did it along time ago & others have added their spin to it.
