Ticking from rear cylinger

I recently got my 2000 vn750 with 20,000 miles running after rebuilding the carbs. I am hearing a ticking noise from my rear cylinder and was wondering if that would have anything to do with my carbs not synced and properly adjusted.

You can get mini-backfires at the vacuum port on the right side if you forgot to plug in the hose or cap the fitting. Most likely you need to install MCCTs, or if you already have them, adjust them.

Try the Grambo trick as well on your existing ACCT. If it works temporarily, ya, go to MCCTs.

Just search "Grambo" and "MCCT" in the search box above.
