Radiator fan loose from shaft

I noticed my fan came on but was not cooling the bike. So after the bike cooled down i checked out the fan and it would freely move around in the fan shroud and felt as if it was off the shaft. i hear the fan motor run but the fan doesnt go with it. I read a post saying that he was planning to use high strength epoxy to hold it back on the shaft. will that work or is there another known fix without having to replace the whole fan assembly. Thanks Mick

Same thing happened to mine .... was going to look into a replacement I heard about a few years back. I think it was Muzzy's that had an aluminum fan madefor the Ninjas but fits ours. Will post when I find out particulars.

It's a good thing the motor is ok, a new one is $450.

got everything broken down, epoxied up, and put back together. All in all a pretty simple fix. after letting her idle till she heated up, the fan kicked on and spun. ill let you guys know how well this holds up.
