Question What kind of oil in a new bike from the dealer?

My bike is new and I'm wondering what kind of oil it has in it?
Is it regular Kawasaki oil, or is it a special break-in oil? I only
have 100 miles on the bike and it is already half way down.
I like to keep fluids up, so what kind of oil should I put in
during break-in?

But the dealer was cheap about all the fluids installed including
the battery fluid, coolant.. and apparently engine oil.

I have a 2005 and it came with Kawasaki 10-40. I can't imagine why your oil level is going down. What do you mean by "half way down?" When I did my first oil change at 600 miles I drained out exactly 4.2 quarts, including what was in the filter.

The oil level is half way between the high mark and the low mark in
the window. However I didn't check the level when I first bought the
bike last week so I assume that the lazy dealer just didn't fill it up
all the way as was the case with the coolant and gas and he also
didn't connect the license plate light wire.
