Engine and exhaust parts vn 700 Vulcan A1 1985 (us)

Is the exhaust at a vn 700 85 model simular to the exhaust on the vn 750 94 model?
Are there many changes from the vn 700 85 mod and the 750 models that are made from 1986 an up to 2000?

There have been a few changes over the years, like changing the master cylinder from rectangular to round and modifying the levers. Other than the smaller displacement cylinders and pistons on the VN700, pretty much everything else will interchange.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Used parts are readily available here on e-bay. But not all sellers are willing to ship overseas. New parts are available from cheapcycleparts.com, Kawasaki dealers, and elsewhere.

Welcome to the Vulcan madness stormyinc.

We have a few members from Europe and the UK on this board, so maybe they can tell you sources for new parts over there. European ebay is probably a cheaper source for used parts, if you can find them.

Get a Clymer paperback service manual that many of us use, at this link or locally:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawas...QQcmdZViewItem

Kawi downloadable service manual is available here:
http://www.tocmanufacturing.com/File...nd%20Parts.pdf

Exhaust system is interchangable on all model years of VN7XX motorcycles.

There are a few changes over the years, and in bikes sold in different areas of the world.

-Watch for lighting and corresponding wiring harness differences regionally.
-Self cancelling turn signals were on early models, `85 to ~`88.
-Rectangular MC from `85-`90 with bent lever.
-Round MC from `91-2006 with straight lever.

Follow the directions here on fergy`s spline lube link before riding too far:
