I have slash cut Cobras. They sound real nice standing by the bike blipping the throttle but I don't hear them much riding with a full-face helmet. Considered removing the baffles but I did a no-helmet test ride around the block and they're definitely loud enough!

'86 VN750 (mods in chronological order)
Ear shave and rejet with Uni pods
Cobra slashcuts
Gel cell battery
Cut rear frame and bobbed rear fender
New rear turn signals
Sidemount license plate and tail light
Fabricated solo seat
Inverted clubman bars
11" MDI shocks
Removed center stand
Modified mount for sidestand
Bike flat blacked
Exhaust header tape and BBQ paint
Custom mirrors
Removed front turn signals and horns
Fitted cafe fairing

92 VN750: rigid, chopped, drag pipes, ear shaved, marbled,15" apes, Irridiums, etc... Next-wider tires!

they r open pipes no baffels. and all i had to do was adj the air/fuel screw and marble

2002 vn750,7800 mile,homemade drag pipes,harley heratige seat,honda sissybar,led rear turn signals,
iridium plugs,marbled,110/90/19 kenda kruz front,
170/80/15 kenda kruz rear,saddlebags.
whats to come****handlebars,highway pegs

I've never been a fan of the look. It's always bothered me that the stock muffers don't match in length however. Can't wait till I can afford a real nice chrome exhaust.
