Question for the experienced metal workers

What’s up all, in another thread I posted that both my mufflers had cracked off right at the clamp. Since then I have been running the bike with just the GB and exhaust tips. Even though I don’t mind how the bike looks and sounds like this, I can’t say I won’t change my mind in a couple months and want to put the mufflers back on. Problem is I have no welding experience or equipment so I wanted to know what other options I have if any. From what I have been reading, this is possibly too hot of a location for JB Weld. Is that correct?? The other thing I was looking at is brazing, is that an option? Looked a lot like soldering and pipe fitting which I’ve done plenty of so I’d be willing to give that a shot if it was a viable option.
Looking for someone to tell me if I’m way off base or not.

I can't braze for beans, would probably try to mig it myself. Hell I paid a pro fab shop to weld a Honda pipe, and he was all proud that he gas welded it. I asked, shielding gas on the mig, no we brazed it. Leaks as bad as ever, $100.

Took me a year to get around to installing the pipe, so I haven't taken it back. Receipt right there on my desk though.

I know where to get HD mufflers cheap.
Been wanting to snag a decent mig myself.

By cheap, on the mufflers, I mean under $20, + shipping for a pair, even Screamin Eagles from time to time. Doc loved the screamers on his VN.
