A good day with cam chains!

1st Kawasaki and seems to be the only 750 in town so nothing to compare noises to. Had the dreaded "click" as the accts were tired at 27k miles.

I installed TOC mccts and chased my tail trying to get a final click out of the top end. Gave up and named the bike "Klackity". Figured it was lifters.

Last night I waded thru about every post mentioning mccts, cam chains etc. In one post someone mentioned other springs above the adjusters. So I pulled the plugs, stretched the springs a bit and reinstalled.

Don't know if that freed the chain guides or put more tension on the upper end but the final clicking is gone!

Front takes 5 minutes, back a little longer as it's easier if you remove the bottle.

You guys probably knew this but forgive this noob who's learning more about this bike.
