What size bar is used in the engine guards?

I want to order some footpegs to attach to the engine guard that's coming but I don't know the size of the bar its made from.............

TOC MCCTs
Saddlebags, hard mounted
Fork mounted tool bag (now hard mounted)
Relocated rear turn signals
LED turn signals, brake lights and running lights
LED license plate frame
Engine Guard and Highway pegs
National Cycles Low Boy Heavy Duty windshield

I thought it was 1"... but I can't find anything that agrees with that.

My guess is 7/8", but you can check using open-end wrenches.

Even a tape measure will show close enough, don't use the very end, but between the 1" and 2" marks.

Just to close this thread out: I received my engine guard today (Thanks Goofin!) and it is made from 1" tubing. So now I can order some footpegs. Probably sometime next week I'll be removing the existing highway peg project, based on a Knifemaker design, and putting it up for sale. When I do I'll start a thread in the SELL section.

Well, I got the engine guard installed. What a pain in the a** !! But it's on. Now to figure out what clamp-on pegs to acquire and to replace the darned right side exhaust gasket because its now leaking.
