Floorboards

I found some really old posts, so just enquiring whether floorboards are still available for sale.
If so, I'm interested in getting just the fronts.
Cheers

I no longer make them, and the guy that started making them using my design, doesn't make them now either.
However if you look here:

There's a layout that you can use to make your own. Or, find a metal shop and have them make them for you. You simply unbolt the rubber on the stock pegs, and bolt them on using 1-3/4 inch long stainless steel 1/4 inch flat head bolts. Use 3/8" aluminum plate.(5/16" is too hard to find)
Cover them with some kind of non-slip material you just glue on.

I used Knifemaker's design spec to make mine, using the 3/8" alloy plate... they are a super job

The Kawasaki floorboards are a bit different. As I said mine will bolt up on the stock pegs...after removing the stock rubber pads. No changes needed for the shifter or brake. But you'll need to readjust a bit using the brake pedal as your foot on a flat surface won't pivot like being on a peg. You have to retrain yourself to move your whole foot. Not a huge problem to re adjust.
There is a drawing for making a set of passenger floorboards on that photo site too btw

I love it!

This project is of great interest to me. I've wanted floorboards for my VN750 since I got it. I had them on my 1500 and loved them. Thank you Knifemaker for your drawing. I've updated it and modified the dimensions a little. I hope you don't mind. I am looking forward to getting these built and getting them on my bike. I'll post updates when I have more progress. The drawing is full sized and should be good for a template. Make sure you check "Actual Size" when you print the PDF.

Doug.

Update...I fixed some of the dimensions in the drawing that were not correct. Holes were not located right. Updated file is attached.
