Seat seam repair

Hello All !

I was wondering if anyone has done a DIY repair on the seat. I have a 4 inch tear alongside the right seam going from the passenger cushion to the riders part. Any and all suggestions are appreciated !

Duct tape should stop it getting any worse, but long term I would expect a replacement cover will be needed.

It is difficult to by your picture if there is enough material left to be stretched so as to move the seam and eliminate the tear but I doubt there is. That is a job for a professional or at least someone with an industrial sewing machine to redo the job in entirety or redo the seam.

and always remember, "Ride until you rot!"
**Really not sure if the Big "C" is back right now
but having to face the fact that this is a lifetime routine
going forward. Five operations done and it still continues.

It may be cheaper to buy a used seat on Evilbay. There are lots of oem seats listed.
